Pioneering Educational Collaboration for the Green Hydrogen Transition

HySecunda project colleagues successfully participated in the Africa - German Green Hydrogen Forum 2024 in Windhoek, Namibia on September 1-2. Jochen Bard, Marie Plaisir, Telsche Nielsen-Lange, and Mario Ragwitz shared updates on the project and had the opportunity to learn from the other participants' valuable contributions to the green energy transition and engage in insightful discussions.

The Africa-German Green Hydrogen Forum, organized by Hochschule Anhalt in collaboration with the University of Namibia (UNAM) and NUST, took place in Windhoek, Namibia. Representatives from Namibian universities and research institutes, alongside delegates from Germany, Europe, and other African countries, gathered under the theme "Global Transition to the Green Hydrogen Economy."

The focus was on advancing the energy transition through education and collaboration. The crucial role of educational institutions in developing hydrogen technologies was highlighted, and strategies for knowledge-building and capacity development were discussed to accelerate the transition to a hydrogen economy in Africa.
