HySecunda Members to participate in Green Hydrogen Event in Namibia

HySecunda project colleagues will be attending the Africa - German Green Hydrogen Forum 2024 in Windhoek, Namibia on September 1-2. The event will feature presentation and poster sessions on topics such as hydrogen value creation, standardization, financing, and capacity building..

The HySecunda consortium is pleased to announce that four of its members – Jochen Bard, Marie Plaisir, Telsche Nielsen-Lange, and Mario Ragwitz – participate in the upcoming  Africa - German Green Hydrogen Forum 2024 in Windhoek, Namibia. This event provides a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and deepen international cooperation in the field of green hydrogen technologies.

Jochen Bard will speak on the complexities and prospects involved of establishing a global hydrogen economy, addressing both the challenges and the opportunities. Marie Plaisir will look at the design of PtX projects, with a particular focus on the impact of regulatory frameworks and certification requirements. Telsche Nielsen-Lange will explore how Fraunhofer's research is translated into practical applications by fostering collaborative learning networks. Finally, Mario Ragwitz will examine the broader system-related factors that are critical to the development of a  hydrogen export industry.
